Following disagreements, Haryana assembles a team to review social media posts.
Haryana has put together a three-person committee to examine recent social media posts in light of the Nuh incidents. The home minister, Anil Vij, emphasized the "important role" that these platforms played in stoking the most recent racial tensions. Some regions of the northern state will remain without internet access until August 5.
"Since social media was a significant factor in the Nuh tragedy, I've formed a three-person commission. From July 21 through July 31, the committee will search every social media site for content. He added that legal action will be taken against anyone who had posted anything offensive.
After a religious procession going through the neighborhood was attacked, clashes between two groups broke out in Nuh on Monday afternoon. The ensuing violence left two house guards dead and scores of people, including about 20 policemen, wounded.
Chief Minister ML Khattar had promised that the victims and their families will receive justice after the altercation. Speaking to a news conference, he also said that innocent people will not be subject to punishment.
"Anyone found guilty of taking part in the Nuh violence will face strict and resolute punishment. Nobody will be protected. There would be justice for the victims and their families, he had promised.
According to reports from the region on Wednesday night, the situation is still tense in the Gurugram sub-divisions of Nuh, Faridabad, and Palwal in Haryana.
A statement from the Home Secretary of Haryana reads, "In order to prevent the spread of false information and rumors through various social media platforms, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, etc. on mobile phones and SMS, for facilitation and mobilization of mobs of agitators and demonstrators who can cause serious loss of life and damage to public and private properties by engaging in arson or vandalism and other types of violent activities, do order the suspension of the mobile internet services."

मुख्यमंत्री एमएल खट्टर ने वादा किया था कि विवाद के बाद पीड़ितों और उनके परिवारों को न्याय मिलेगा। एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में बोलते हुए, उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि निर्दोष लोगों को सजा नहीं दी जाएगी।
"नूह हिंसा में भाग लेने का दोषी पाए गए किसी भी व्यक्ति को सख्त और कठोर सजा का सामना करना पड़ेगा। किसी को भी संरक्षित नहीं किया जाएगा। पीड़ितों और उनके परिवारों के लिए न्याय होगा, उन्होंने वादा किया था।
बुधवार रात क्षेत्र से आई खबरों के मुताबिक, हरियाणा के नूंह, फरीदाबाद और पलवल के गुरुग्राम उपमंडलों में स्थिति अभी भी तनावपूर्ण है।
हरियाणा के गृह सचिव के एक बयान में कहा गया है, "भीड़ की सुविधा और लामबंदी के लिए मोबाइल फोन और एसएमएस पर व्हाट्सएप, फेसबुक, ट्विटर आदि जैसे विभिन्न सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफार्मों के माध्यम से झूठी सूचना और अफवाहों के प्रसार को रोकने के लिए आंदोलनकारी और प्रदर्शनकारी जो आगजनी या बर्बरता और अन्य प्रकार की हिंसक गतिविधियों में शामिल होकर जीवन की गंभीर हानि और सार्वजनिक और निजी संपत्तियों को नुकसान पहुंचा सकते हैं, मोबाइल इंटरनेट सेवाओं को निलंबित करने का आदेश दें।"
