The creators of Made in Heaven, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, claim that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were not used as models for the parts of Pulkit Samrat and Elnaaz Norouzi.
Many people have been wondering if Made in Heaven Season 2 Episode 4 is based on the fictitious circumstance of ex-lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The show's creators, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, denied the it was accurate in an interview with Mid-Day.
An explanation from Reema and Zoya
Pulkit is quite entertaining. It's a blast working with him and he puts up an amazing performance. I enjoyed co-directing the Season 1 episode with him. He was appreciated by the audience at the program. There are characters that appear repeatedly in many shows. So while we were writing, we thought of bringing him back and having him married. We weren't really thinking about Salman or Katrina (laughs). When Zoya said in the interview, "But you are, and I guess that's how art works," Reema said, "You can interpret it however you like (smiles)."
What does the episode focus on?
Bollywood couple Sarfaraz Khan and Leila have a destination wedding in the episode, which was filmed in Nice, France. The talented superstar Sarfaraz also made an appearance in Season 1 Episode 2 as a famous visitor at a wedding, where he ends up having a sexual relationship with the bride, much to the displeasure of the husband, who threatens to beat him up.
Leila is another Iranian performer who has achieved success in Bollywood, similar to Elnaaz. She has never appeared in a film with Sarfaraz, but following their wedding, the two are expected to unveil a new one, helmed by Anurag Kashyap. To make himself appear "younger," Sarfaraz attempts to persuade Anurag to replace Leila with a different starlet.
Salman and Katrina
The two celebrities started dating in 2003, however their union broke up in 2009. Salim Khan, a playwright, is the father of Salman Khan, who made his acting debut in 1989. In 2003, British star Katrina made her Bollywood debut, and she went on to become one of the highest-paid actors. Salman and Katrina would reprise their respective roles as Tiger and Zoya in Tiger 3, the third film in spy thriller filmmaker Manish Sharma's Tiger series.
