JE Entertainment Desk: Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, starring Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol in the lead roles, re-released in theatres on June 9, 2023 after more than two decades. In a surprising turn of events, during the screening of first part, the makers also uveiled the teaser of much-anticipated Gadar 2: The Katha Continues.
The teaser for "Gadar 2: The Katha Continues" showed Tara Singh, played by Sunny Deol, performing some never-before-seen action scenes, which began with a woman saying, "Damaad hai yeh Pakistan ka, Isko nariyal doh, Tika lagao, Warna Lahore le jayega." Tara Singh also appeared to be grieving someone's death.
Gadar 2: The Katha Continues
The sequel to Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's blockbuster movie, Gadar, is all set to hit the theatres. The makers earlier shared the much-anticipated motion poster of Gadar 2 - The Katha Continues.
In the advertisement, Ameesha Patel's Sakina was dressed in a mustard suit, while Sunny Deol's Tara Singh was shown wearing a brown kurta and pajamas with a white turban. Read the poster to relive the timeless love story.
The sequel Gadar 2, which is helmed by Anil Sharma, moves the timeline forward by 20 years. The combat in Gadar 2 reportedly takes place in 1971, during the India-Pakistan War.The movie is co-produced by Zee Studios and Anil Sharma Productions. The movie is scheduled to premiere on August 11, 2023. It will compete with Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor.
